From this week’s sermon:
“Who are those who are longing for a life of meaning and purpose; the life they were created to live in personal relationship with God, who are unable to do so because no one has told them? God is out there ahead of us. God’s Spirit is at work in the lives of people we know and strangers we encounter. God is leading the way, and we need to respond.”

Have You Paid Your Per Capita?
Per Capita money is the way that individual churches contribute to the work of the larger PC (USA) denomination. Churches are assessed a fee based on the number of confirmed members. Again this year, because of budget concerns, we are asking that each confirmed member in your household contribute to his or her own Per Capita expense. So far we have received 1/5 of the budgetary expense of $10,000. Please send $29 per confirmed member for 2010 to the church office and write “Per Capita” in the check memo line.
