One person can make a difference for the kingdom of God. His plan is for us to care for one another, "Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others." (Philippians 2:4)
God created us with a great variety of talents. Do you like photography? Are you good at organizing things? Do you like to teach or write? Can you play a musical instruement, fix mechanical things or build? Each of us has a unique place in life and in the Body of Christ.
There are a variety of opportunities to volunteer at First Presbyterian. Some are weekly opportunities, some are a few times a year or even one time per year.
We want to make volunteering as easy as possible. After learning about a ministry area where you’d like to use your gifts, simply contact the person listed with that activity. That person will walk you through the steps required for volunteering in their ministry.
"And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him." Colossians 3:17
Nursery volunteers spend 1 hour approximately every 3 months taking care of children Kindergarten age and younger in the church nursery during Worship. To volunteer, e-mail Lynda in the office. 
| Do you have an hour on Thursdays to help with kitchen clean up after Wednesday night Youth Groups? We need someone willing to wash towels, put out the recycling, etc.

Sunday School teachers teach, or co-teach, a class each Sunday during the school year at 9 a.m.

| The Good News Club meets Wednesdays at 3:30 p.m. It takes a great team to make this program run smoothly. We can use all varieties of gifts including teachers, music leaders and helpers, and organizational and food preparation help.

| Fellowship, food and finding our way in God's world define the That's G! Jr. High and C.I.A. (Christians In the Attic) Sr. High youth groups. Meeting each Wednesday night, we need people with a variety of gifts such as leadership, organization, music and food preparation and clean-up. Talk to Denise to find where your gifts can be used at That's G!/C.I.A.  |
Every summer we travel to Tennessee to work with Mountain T.O.P. (Tennessee Outreach Project). This ministry is about forming relationships through the love of Christ. Intrested in learning how you can be a part? Contact Mark Gross.  | We are going to Egypt this summer! We will turn the church into ancient Egypt during Vacation Bible School the week of June 7-11. We need many volunteers to make our journey successful. Talk to Denise to find your place in Egypt whether you lead a family group, play music, help with snack preparation or pray for the kids and volunteers daily during that week.  | New voices are always welcome in the choir. We practice each Wednesday night at 7 p.m. and sing an average of two Sundays per month. To learn more, talk to choir director Mary Greiner.
