Vacation Bible School 2011
We has a great time traveling to Hometown Nazareth, where Jesus was a kid!
80 kids imagined living and working in the dusty town of Nazareth right before Jesus began his ministry - they visited a rock quarry, a bead bazzar, a farmer's field, a carpentry shop, a photo place where they could be a shepherd or a sheep and a mission area where they colored backpacks for kids in need in Brazil. They enjoyed singing and snacks and recreation and visiting with Mary and her nosy neighbor Eunice.
Throughout the week, we learned that:
Jesus had a family,
Jesus had a name,
Jesus had a home,
Jesus went to church,
Jesus served others
and we do too!
