In June, 2010, 15 people from the Presbytery of East Iowa traveled to Brasil. These individuals were from churches in Cedar Rapids, Marion, West Liberty, and Muscatine. Richard Stanley from Muscatine wrote an article about his visit to Prece.  Click here to read about some of the work being done in Brasil. The Iowans visited 10 of the churches in Ceara, including our sister church, Parquelandia.

Because Parquelandia has not yet reached its fundraising goal to build a new church, the congregation has leased a building for the next two years. It is a nice location and has adequate space for their members. If you haven't yet made a donation for Parquelandia, please do, so we can get them to their goal of a new building.
